Check out our 2018 Monthly Planning Calendar for updated listing of meetings, events and trips.  If you are flying in the area of CTJ, stop in and say "Hi".

May 2017 EAA Young Eagles Flights: WOW!!

What a smashing success for what started out as an overcast morning! Over 90 kids received free introductory flights which included our a preflight safety brief, a low altitude tour of the area, and some of the best hamburgers and hot dogs in West Georgia.  Several teenagers were among the recipients, getting a look at what their future could be like. Seven very gracious pilots made it all possible, paying for fuel and working very hard without taking a break. EAA 976 has one of the best organized Young Eagles events in the nation.  Next Young Eagles is scheduled for Saturday May 12, 2018 at the Carrollton West Georgia Regional Airport.  Contact us at EAA976@gmail.com if you have questions.
